Our nurse practitioners have the training and experience to prescribe psychiatric medications. Maximizing desired outcomes while minimizing unwanted side effects is no easy task, so our providers will work with you to find the best balance of medications to help you on your healing journey. We may even recommend genetic testing to help determine which drugs will be most effective for your unique genetic makeup. When determining which medications are appropriate for you, we will consider the “five rights”: the right patient, the right drug, the right dose, the right route, and the right time.
